GSF Accelerator, a technology accelerator is going global with the launch of GSF Global Accelerator, a first of its kind cross-border accelerator program.
Twelve high-tech startups will be selected for the programeight from India and the rest through its strategic alliance partners in South East Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa.
These startups will come together in a journey of twelve weeks that will begin in India and end in the Silicon Valley. The objective of the program is to provide a platform for Indian and emerging world technology entrepreneurs, to incubate, develop, and establish themselves in global markets.
As part of the initiative, GSF plans to pioneer cross-border entrepreneurship and integrate the Indian start-up ecosystem to the most important tech hubs in the world.
The GSF program will have four stopovers. Starting mid-April in India, the team will spend four weeks with GSF mentors and advisers in Delhi and Bengaluru followed by two weeks in Singapore at ‘The HUB, then two weeks in a leading digital hub on the east coast of North America and the final four weeks in the Valley.
The program will end with four demo days to investors and entrepreneurs, one each in San Francisco, Singapore and India.
Rajesh Sawhney, Founder of GSF Accelerator and GSF Superangels said, These twelve startups will get an opportunity to deeply immerse in global technology hubs of the world. This exposure to their peers, mentors, business partners and investors will provide them with a unique platform to launch their products globally.
GSF has partnered with AngelList for managing the application process for the program.
Startups can apply here to be a part of the program. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2014.
