Ramesh KS appointed as CEO for ECS-2 Domain of Uno Minda with immediate effect

Ramesh KS has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for ECS-2 Domain of Uno Minda Group with effect from August 17, the company said in a regulatory filing.

He will report to Nirmal Kumar Minda, Chairman and Managing Director of the company.

Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President at Ather Energy.

Ramesh KS has 32 years of extensive experience in Operations, Business Development, Engineering, Sourcing & Supply Chain, and B2B Business Development.

His expertise spans EV Manufacturing, DC, BLOC, Axial Flux and Stepper Motors, Electronic Modules, Transmissions/Gearboxes, Alternators and more, the company said.

He has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis, Pune.

Before joining the Uno Minda Group, he held key positions in various organizations such as Ather Energy, Portescap India, Fortive/Danaher, Visteon India, Lucas TVS, and Kuna I Engineering Co.

The company reported its quarterly net profit at Rs. 122.96 crore in June 2024 down 9.03 percent from Rs. 135.16 crore in June 2023
