Radisson Hotel Group on February 20 announced that it would be launching its second hotel in the temple town of Ayodhya. The property, which will be a 150-room Radisson Blu Hotel, is being built in tie-up with Jeewani Group and EaseMyTrip, it said in a media release.

The announcement comes a months after Radisson Group announced the opening of its Park Inn by Radisson Hotel in Ayodhya. The company's decision to set up another hotel reflects its intent to tap into the growing tourism market in the Uttar Pradesh town.

The new hotel is a greenfield project, that is "being developed by Jeewani Hospitality in partnership with EaseMyTrip" and is expected to open in 2027, the release stated. It is strategically located within two kilometers of the Ram Mandir, which was opened up for devotees last month.

The hotel is at a convenient distance from the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Railway Station and is also connected via the National Highway-27.

Revered religious sites, such as Hanuman Ghari, Kanak Bhawan, Nageshwarnath Temple, and Treta Ke Thakur, are located within 2-5 km of the hotel, the company claimed.

“The signing of Radisson Blu Hotel, Ayodhya marks a significant milestone in our expansion strategy for India and the country’s high-potential tier 2/3 markets. Our decision to open another hotel in Ayodhya is greatly influenced by the robust guest demand and positive feedback that underscores the attractiveness of this holy city,” said KB Kachru, Chairman Emeritus and Principal Advisor, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.

EaseMyTrip CEO Nishant Pitti said the collaboration reflects his firm's commitment to enhance hospitality offerings in the city. "By joining forces, we aim to set new benchmarks in the hospitality industry and create a landmark destination in Ayodhya," he added.
