Telecom is the only sector where we have the negative outlook and it is predicated on our expectation that competition will continue and that will likely pressure revenues and profitability and that is likely to continue over the next twelve months, he said.
Speaking on Bharti Airtel, he said that the outlook is negative which indicates one in three likelihood chance that the rating could go down. “If the deleveraging works out as plan as we expect then the outlook could be stabilised but if there is any delay, that would need to be weighed while we rate Bharti,” he added.
