On a glittering October 28 evening in the heart of the national capital, Safir Anand, renowned Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) lawyer and Senior Partner at Anand & Anand, hosted the third edition of the Great Indian IP Fest. The event, buzzing with creative energy, showcased around 20 brands, proving that innovative ideas are not only flourishing but also finding traction in the real world.
Anand noted that several participants from previous editions have successfully secured funding on Shark Tank, providing inspiration and a roadmap for budding entrepreneurs in attendance.
The evening was a testament to India's diverse creative landscape, featuring a curated selection of brands that have transformed Great Indian Ideas into Great Indian Brands. The likes of the Art Magnum, HollyBelly House of Antiques, ICA Gallery, Louis Burger, Rose Tree, NotarEase, Siddhartha Bansal took centre stage, offering attendees a unique and immersive experience.

One of the participating brands like NotarEase showecased how online notarisation in India is slowly becoming acceptable in Indian courts, avoiding the hassle of physical notarisation of affidavits. Karmanya Singh Sareen, an engineer-turned-lawyer, showcased how NotarEase simplifies the notarization process—eliminating the need for printing, physical signatures, or in-person affidavits. Registered under the Notaries Act, 1952, NotarEase is gaining traction in Indian courts, marking a significant shift toward digital legal solutions.
Adding depth to the event, Anand & Anand announced a collaboration with Yuva Unstoppable—a non-profit active across 30 Indian cities. Together, they will provide scholarships to students pursuing Intellectual Property studies, fostering the next generation of IP leaders. Yuva Unstoppable’s efforts go beyond education, working in areas like sanitation, youth development, and access to clean drinking water for underprivileged children.
In an intellectual twist, the event also teased the launch of "Confessions of Stock Market Wizards," a non-fiction book set for release at the Jaipur Literary Fest in January. The book offers wisdom from 25 fund managers, distilling their hard-learned lessons on governance, acquisitions, and market dynamics.
"You are allowed to make a new mistake, but never repeat the same one," quipped Sunil Singhania, Founder of Abakkus Asset Manager LLP, as he reflected on the insights shared in the book.
The evening was elevated by the presence of celebrated personalities, including fashion designer Manish Malhotra and economist Sanjeev Sanyal, adding glamour and gravitas to the fest. Conversations flowed freely, blending business, art, law, and finance, making the event a melting pot of ideas and inspiration.
