Bulk deals: Shankar Sharma offloads 0.61% stake in Rama Steel Tubes; picks up 0.52% stake in Valiant Communications

Pine Oak Global Fund sold 1.1 lakh shares (0.73 percent stake) at an average price of Rs 144 per share. Shares of the Mumbai-based logistics player closed around 0.14 percent highet at Rs 144.

The following bulk and block deals took place on January 21.

Rama Steel Tubes

Veteran investor Shankar Sharma sold 1 crore shares of Rama Steel Tubes through a bulk deal on the NSE on January 21, 2026, at an average price of Rs 7.65, representing 0.61 percent stake.  In the quarter ending December 2025, Sharma's holding was around 1.5 percent. He first added the stock to his portfolio in 2024. The company manufactures and supplies a wide range of steel pipes, tubes, and structural products. At close, the stock was trading at Rs 7.54, around 7 percent lower.

Valiant Communications Shankar Sharma also bought 59,100 shares of Valiant Communications through a bulk deal on the BSE, at an average price of Rs 773.72, accounting for 0.52 percent stake. The stock was trading at Rs 756.75, around 1.93 percent higher.

Ashwini Container Movers

Pine Oak Global Fund sold 1.1 lakh shares (0.73 percent stake) at an average price of Rs 144 per share. Shares of the Mumbai-based logistics player closed around 0.14 percent highet at Rs 144.

Restaurant Brands Asia

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology sold 1.17 crore shares (2.02 percent stake) of Restaurant Brands Asia at an average price of Rs 63.31 per share. At close, the stock was trading at Rs 64.61, around 1.46 percent higher.

Indo SMC

Royal Alpha Opportunity Fund bought 2.14 lakh shares at Rs 149.06 per share, Mansi Share and Stock Broking Private Limited purchased 1.86 lakh shares at Rs 151.49, SMC Global Securities Limited acquired 1.35 shares at Rs 152.21. Other buyers included Nexus Equity Growth Fund Scheme-1 which bought 2.30 lakh shares at Rs 149 and HDFC Bank purchased 1.25 lakh shares at Rs 150.18,, among others.

Block deals

Adani Green Energy

Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE bought 10 lakh shares of Adani Green Energy at Rs 883.3 per share, while Societe Generale purchased 5.49 lakh shares at Rs 879.5 per share. BNP Paribas Financial Markets sold 5.49 lakh shares at Rs 879.5 and another 10 lakh shares at Rs 883.3 per share.

Airtel PP

BNP Paribas Financial Markets bought 12.05 lakh shares of Airtel PP at Rs 1,597 per share, while BofA Securities Europe SA sold an equal number of shares at the same price.

RBL Bank

BofA Securities Europe SA bought 60 lakh shares of RBL Bank at Rs 296 per share, while BNP Paribas Financial Markets sold an equal number of shares at the same price.
