Shares of technology solutions company Axiscades are sharply higher by 5 percent on July 30 on the back of 'significant' new orders totalling up to Rs 600 crore through its defence subsidiaries, the company informed through an exchange filing.

The orders add to the existing orderbook and are expected to be executed over next 3-5 years, providing a 'steady revenue stream' with prototyping and full-scale production phases, said Axiscades. The latest orders are significant and add up to a third of the company's current orderbook which is reaching around Rs 1,800 crore.

Spread across airborne, naval and radar-based platforms from defence laboratories, the orders involve development and supply of sub-systems for indigenous platforms being developed by DRDOs and other PSUs. This also deepens the company's involvement in key defence initiatives including fighter aircraft upgrades, naval modernization, and long-range surveillance radar systems, the company said.

Axiscades listed out the key defence electronics programs and contributions that it has received in the latest order:

1. AESA Radar Program (Su-30 MKI Upgrade)
The order involves development and supply of critical radar subsystems including the Exciter Unit, Receiver Unit, and Antenna Beam Control Motherboard. These components are vital and will replace the existing Russian radar on the Su-30 MKI, enhancing indigenous capabilities.

2. TR Modules for S-Band Surveillance Radars
Design and delivery of advanced Transmit-Receive (TR) modules that significantly improve target detection, tracking accuracy, and signal fidelity in long-range surveillance operations.

3. LRBMR – KUSHA
Axiscades will be supporting the development of indigenous Digital Beam Forming (DBF) units for the Long-Range Battle Management Radar (LRBMR). Operating in the S-band, this radar system offers a detection range of over 500 km, enabling simultaneous multi-target tracking and enhanced situational awareness.

4. Electric Heavy Weight Torpedo (EHWT)
Design and delivery of the Homing Receiver, a critical component enabling autonomous target acquisition for next-generation submarine-launched anti-submarine warfare (ASW) torpedoes.

5. Submarine Sonar Systems
This is a production order, and demonstrates the company's delivery of multiple sonar sub-systems, reinforcing growing presence in undersea warfare electronics.

Axiscades' CTO C Manikandan said the orders reflect the core strength in radar, sonar, and electronics. "These wins also highlight our deep integration into the ecosystem of India’s premier Defence research and production agencies."

Shares of Axiscades Technologies are up 95 percent so far this year.
