Infosys unveiled, on September 12, a multi-year partnership with STARK Group, Europe's retailer and distributor of building products, to accelerate its digital transformation journey.
This collaboration, the global digital services and consulting company said, will leverage the potential of Infosys Topaz, a recently launched suite of services, solutions, and platforms powered by generative AI technologies, to drive innovation and advancement.
As part of this collaboration, Infosys and STARK Group will build a cutting-edge data centre in Denmark that will serve as the cornerstone for driving technical breakthroughs and providing seamless services to STARK Group's offices throughout Europe.
Infosys intends to adopt an "AI first" strategy and utilize the capabilities of Infosys Topaz to improve STARK Group's operational efficiency and service quality through AI-driven solutions. Furthermore, Infosys stated that it will use its cloud-enabled Live Enterprise Application Management Platform (LEAP) to provide NextGen Application Management Services, a fundamental component of Infosys Cobalt. According to the company, the aim of this effort is to promote automation across STARK Group's IT infrastructure, fostering a cycle of development and innovation.
Infosys also intends to empower STARK Group by reducing costs, improving operational efficiency, and facilitating expansion into numerous geographical locations.
Pernille Geneser, Group CIO, STARK Group, commented, “We at STARK Group are excited to announce our collaboration with Infosys as we embark on a transformation journey to deliver state-of-the-art and future-fit IT services to our colleagues in the Nordics, Austria, Germany, and the UK. Karmesh Vaswani, EVP & Global Head Retail, Consumer Goods & Logistics, Infosys, said that utilizing their state-of-the-art technologies such as Infosys Topaz and their cloud-enabled platform LEAP, they are confident that this partnership will deliver unmatched value and drive innovation for STARK Group.
"Together, we look forward to shaping a future of success, growth, and shared achievements in the digital landscape. This collaboration further strengthens Infosys' prominence in the Nordics region," Vaswani added.
