Engineering services firm Xoriant has acquired TestDevLab, a Latvia-headquartered software quality engineering specialist, in a move aimed at deepening its European presence and gaining capabilities in AI-driven quality engineering (QE).

The deal marks Xoriant’s fourth acquisition in three years, as the ChrysCapital-owned firm expands aggressively across global markets. Xoriant currently operates 28 offices across India, the US and Europe.

With this acquisition, TestDevLab’s delivery centres in the Baltics and Macedonia will give Xoriant access to high-quality engineering talent and mature EU innovation hubs.

While the companies didn’t disclose deal size, TestDevLab has a revenue of around $30 million, sources in the know said.

Xoriant said the acquisition will strengthen its capabilities both in AI for quality engineering and quality engineering for AI systems.

TestDevLab brings a 14-year track record across specialised QE areas such as test automation, performance testing, multimedia analysis, UX and accessibility testing. Its 500 plus engineers support global technology, consumer and financial services clients.

The company also operates a proprietary QE ecosystem, including tools like Loadero and the AI-driven Barko agent.

“With TestDevLab joining Xoriant, we’re bringing intelligence and quality even closer together. It enhances our leadership in Quality Assurance for intelligent systems through model validation, fairness and bias testing, explainability, and safety evaluations across AI and language models,” said Rohit Kedia, CEO, Xoriant.

Ervins Grinfelds, Co‑Founder of TestDevLab, added, “Clients today expect trusted partners who ensure excellence from code to customer experience. Xoriant’s scale and Applied Intelligence approach will amplify our mission to help clients deliver products defined by reliability, performance, and innovation.”

Previously, Xoriant’s had acquired FEXLE Services (September 2024), MapleLabs (February 2024), and Thoucentric (August 2023).
