Information technology firm LTIMindtree has launched a new integrated offering: GCC-as-a-Service, to help global enterprises build, scale, and transform their global capability centres (GCCs) in India and other key markets.
Announced on July 1, the service covers the full spectrum of Build, Operate, Transform (BOT) and Transfer (BOTT) capabilities and is designed to serve both new entrants and companies looking to optimise existing captive centres.
“GCCs are becoming strategic centers for industry-specific transformation and efficiency,” Venu Lambu, CEO and MD of LTIMindtree, was quoted as saying in the release. “Our GCC-as-a-Service helps enterprises evolve their GCCs into global innovation hubs, leveraging scalable, responsible AI for competitive advantage.”
LTIMindtree is the latest Indian tech firm tapping into the growing market for turnkey GCC enablement services.
The development follows staffing firm Quess Corp's launch of "Origint", a dedicated GCC-as-a-service offering in June. The end-to-end service line will help global enterprises set up, scale, and operate high-performing captive centres across India and key international markets.
India is home to more than 1,700 GCCs, which are typically set up by a company to carry out IT and related business functions. These centres contributed to 17 percent YoY tech workforce growth, adding nearly 1.8 lakh jobs in 2024, with a projection of reaching $105 billion by 2030, employing 24 lakh professionals.
Meanwhile, LTIMindtree said its new service allows clients to choose from end-to-end support for legal and compliance set-up, infrastructure readiness, transition management, AI-based talent solutions, and transformation enablers.
The service is powered by LTIMindtree’s proprietary BlueVerse Agentic AI ecosystem and AI studios located across the US, Europe, and India.
