Q1 Results Highlights: Vodafone Idea's net loss widens to Rs 6,608 crore; IOC's net profit more than doubles

Vodafone Idea reported a net loss of Rs 6,608 crore for Q1 FY26. This is higher than the Rs 6,432 crore net loss reported in Q1 FY25. However, net loss has narrowed sequentially from the Rs 7,166 crore reported in Q4 FY25. The firm's revenue from operations rose 5% YoY to Rs 11,022.5 crore.

Patanjali Foods reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 180 crore for Q1 FY26. This marks a 31% YoY fall from the Rs 263 crore net profit reported in Q1 FY25. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose 24% YoY to Rs 8,899.70 crore.

Glenmark Pharma reported a net profit of Rs 47 crore for Q1 FY26. This marks a 86% YoY fall from the Rs 340 crore net profit reported in Q1 FY25. However, the net profit sharply increased sequentially from the Rs 5 crore reported in Q4 FY25.

The firm's revenue from operations rose 0.6% YoY to Rs 3,264 crore.

Borosil reported a net profit of Rs 17.41 crore for Q1 FY26. This marks 87% YoY jump from the Rs 9.29 crore net profit reported in Q1 FY25. The firm’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose to Rs 233 crore.

Inox Wind reported a net profit of Rs 97 crore for Q1 FY26. This marks a strong rise from the Rs 42 crore net profit reported in Q1 FY25. Revenue from operations meanwhile rose to Rs 826 crore.

The shares of Vodafone Idea dropped 3% to close at Rs 6.17 apiece. The telecom major is set to announce its results for the first quarter of FY26 today.

The net profit declined 17 percent at Rs 19 crore from Rs 23 crore, year-on-year (YoY). The revenue was up 27 percent at Rs 346 crore from Rs 273 crore YoY.

The company reported its June 2025 quarterly results with revenue from operations, rising 5 percent to Rs 516.4 crore from Rs 494 crore in the year ago period. The net profit increased 18 percent to Rs 134 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 113.4 crore in the same period a year ago.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) reported a standalone net profit of Rs 5,689 crore for Q1 FY26. This marks a 115% YoY rise from the Rs 2,643 crore net profit reported in the year-ago period. The firm's revenue from operations rose 1% YoY to Rs 2.19 lakh crore.

AstraZeneca Pharma reported a net profit of Rs 56 crore in Q1 FY26, as against a net loss of Rs 12 crore in Q1 FY25. The pharma company's revenue from operations meanwhile rose to Rs 526 crore.

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 165 crore for Q1 FY26. This marks a 34% YoY drop from the Rs 249 crore net profit reported in Q1 FY25. The firm's revenue from operations meanwhile rose 4% YoY to Rs 3,401 crore.

Ashok Leyland said that it has reported a record Q1 with highest ever CV volumes of 44,238 units and highest ever Q1 revenue of Rs 8,725  crore. The company also reported its highest EBITDA and PAT of Rs 970 crore and Rs 594 crore respectively. "EBITDA is up at 11.1% for Q1 FY26 (at Rs. 970Cr) as against 10.6% (at Rs. 911Cr) in Q1FY25. The Company continues to be cash positive at end of Q1 FY26 at Rs. 821 Cr," the firm said.

Vodafone Idea (Vi), staring at a possible cash crunch by the March 2026 quarter, is in early discussions with private credit funds including Davidson Kempner, Oaktree and Värde Partners to raise a small tranche of debt, sources told Moneycontrol.

According to its internal estimates, the struggling telco may run out of funds to sustain its capex programme by the fourth quarter of the current financial year if bank financing does not materialise. Despite several rounds of engagement, lenders have so far refrained from extending fresh loans to the cash-strapped telco, multiple sources confirmed. (Read more)
