Bigbloc Construction’s net profit increased by 55.65 percent YoY to Rs 8.64 crore in the quarter that ended in March 2024, from Rs 5.55 crore year ago.
The company’s profit was helped by increase in other income, which stood at Rs 3.82 crore in Q4FY24 compared to Rs 0.69 crore in the previous year.
Revenue from operations increased nearly 46 percent to Rs 67.95 crore in the quarter. Bigbloc Construction’s EBITDA gained by 18.34 percent to Rs 12.54 crore.
BigBloc is engaged in the business of manufacturing building blocks and AAC (Aerated Autoclave Concrete) bricks. AAC blocks are known for their superior qualities including strength, lightweight nature, thermal insulation, sound absorption, exceptional fire resistance, and ease of construction.

On May 6, investor Shankar Sharma had picked up equity stake in the building block manufacturer. Sharma bought 3.65 lakh shares, which is a 0.51 percent stake in Bigbloc Construction at an average price of Rs 235. The total value of the deal is Rs 8.57 crore.
Ahead of the results announcement, shares of Bigbloc Construction had surged 3.82 percent to Rs 274.80 on NSE.
