Global investment firm The Carlyle Group has appointed Aditya Puri, former CEO of HDFC Bank, as a senior advisor in Asia. Puri will be advising the Carlyle team on investment opportunities in Asian markets.

The group released a statement in which it said that Puri will guide the Carlyle team on investing in the evolving market landscape across Asia. He will also advise Carlyle’s investment professionals and portfolio management teams on building differentiated high-quality businesses.
