Mid-size private sector lender Yes Bank today announced three senior level appointments, including a new chief operating officer, to scale up its retail banking operations. While Padhmanabhan Kumar will be the new chief operating officer and senior group president, operations and service delivery, Neeraj Dhawan will be the new group president and chief risk officer for retail & business banking, and Rajan Pental will be the new group head for retail lending. These appointments are in accordance with the bank's plan of building a robust retail & MSME lending franchise, as its ramp up from 700 branches over 2,500 branches by March 2020, the bank said in a statement.

Its retail & MSME advances currently constitute 31.8 percent of the overall loan book.
