    Short-term credit quantum may go down due to scrappage of LoUs, LCs: Federal Bank

    In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ashutosh Khajuria, ED of Federal Bank shared his views and readings about banning letters of undertakings (LoUs).

    In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ashutosh Khajuria, ED of Federal Bank shared his views and readings about banning letters of undertakings (LoUs).

    Khajuria said that short-term credit quantum may go down due to scrappage of LoUs, Letter of Credits (LCs).

    He further said that buyers’ credit will be curtailed to some extent.

    According to him, in case LoUs aren’t issued to domestic corps, they can avail working capital loan.

    Talking about dollar, he said dollar supply may see some constraint.
