NHDC pays Rs 195.87 cr dividend to Madhya Pradesh govt

The dividend cheque was handed over to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan yesterday by NHDC Chief Executive Director Dheeman Parija, an official said today.

Hydropower major Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation (NHDC) has paid a dividend of Rs 195.87 crore to the Madhya Pradesh government.

The dividend cheque was handed over to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan yesterday by NHDC Chief Executive Director Dheeman Parija, an official said today.

The state government has received this cheque towards dividend for the year 2015-16, he added.

NHDC is a joint venture of NHPC Ltd and government of Madhya Pradesh.

Set up on August 1, 2000 with its corporate office in Bhopal, NHDC works towards development of hydropower and other renewal energy in Madhya Pradesh.
