Oriental Carbon and Chemicals has doubled in the past year. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Anurag Jain, CFO of Oriental Carbon spoke about the latest happenings in the company and gave his outlook for the future.

Jain said new capacity of 5,500 tonne will be commissioned by Q2 of FY19.

He further said that we expect capacity in second half to be better than first half.

Current capacity should be fully utilised by Q4 of FY18, he added.

We have not seen any impact currently on margin due to higher input cost, said Jain.

Our debt can go up by Rs 25-30 crore due to additional capacity, he mentioned.
