V2 Retail posted a good set of earnings for this quarter with revenue up 31 percent and profit after tax (PAT) up by 87 percent.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Akash Agarwal, Director of V2 Retail spoke about the company's performance.
Company retails apparel, non-apparel and household products via 41 stores. It also offers products for low income segment and non-branded value for money products. Most of the stores are located in North India such as Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Assam.
We are looking at a steady growth and keeping this 30-40 percent revenue growth every year in the next couple of years, he said.
Currently we are operating 41 stores and plan to open another 15-20 stores in FY18 and average revenue comes out to be around Rs 15 crore per store, he added.
