Emami has forayed into the fast-growing male grooming market with their acquisition of Helios Lifestyle. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, NH Bhansali of Emami Group gave a sense of their plans for the segment going forward.
Male grooming segment is growing very aggressively, he said.
We are not looking at doing it immediately because it has its unique positioning. These are the premium products which are being sold online through all websites and it caters to the mass segment, he added.
According to him, this is a growing trend and the market is growing very aggressively.
We want to invest in this kind of an opportunity, said Bhansali.
