Hanung up 4% ahead of board meet for preferential issue

Hanung Toys and Textiles gained nearly 4 percent after the company said its meeting of the board of directors will be held on March 01, 2013, to consider the allotment of preferential issue of equity shares to the promoter group.

    Hanung Toys and Textiles gained nearly 4 percent after the company said its meeting of the board of directors will be held on March 01, 2013, to consider the allotment of preferential issue of equity shares to the promoter group.


    The board members approved the proposal for preferential issue of equity shares on January 7 and shareholders too approved the same through postal ballot forms.


    The company proposes to issue 30 lakh equity shares (on preferential basis) of Rs 10 each to promoters, comprising of 12 lakh shares to CK Software Private Limited, 12 lakh to Hanung Infra & Power and 6 lakh shares to Glofin Investment & Finance Company.


    At 14:51 hours IST, shares gained 2.7 percent to Rs 136.20 amid high volumes on Bombay Stock Exchange.
