Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "Avanti Feeds is in a fairly strong uptrend. So that is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 2,450 and target of Rs 2,600. Sobha is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 458 and target of Rs 480."
"NBCC is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 238 and target of Rs 252. Bata India is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 784 and target of Rs 810. Kotak Mahindra Bank is also a buy with a stop loss of Rs 1,070 and target of Rs 1,120," he added.
"The better metal stocks are Vedanta and Tata Steel. I think stocks like Jindal Steel & Power (JSPL), etc. each time they go up, something goes wrong. However, JSW Steel can be bought. Even metal derivatives which supply to the metal industries, probably those sort of stocks can also be looked at. So, overall, metals complex is a positive."
"Given that Avenue Supermart (D-Mart), etc. are moving, I think even Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance's numbers could surprise. So buying them pre-results is not such a bad trade. So given that financials are coming back, I think both these stocks can be bought."
"Big call probably remains in Reliance Industries because largecaps is where you have to focus. So Reliance, Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and HDFC, those are the kind of stocks you need to bet on."
