The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has postponed the Class 12th Chemistry examination of the Indian School Certificate (ISC), which was scheduled to be held today, February 26. The exam will now be held on March 21 from 2 PM.
The board did not give any reason for the delay and said exam was postponed due to “unforeseen circumstances”. To be sure, all other examinations will be conducted as per a pre-determined schedule.
“Please note, the ISC Year 2024 Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) Examination, scheduled for Monday, 26th February 2024, has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The ISC Year 2024 Chemistry Paper 1 (Theory) Examination has been rescheduled for Thursday, 21 March 2024, 2.00 P.M,” said Sangeeta Bhatia, deputy secretary of CISCE, in an official notice.
Since CISCE did not lay off specific guidelines for the examination now scheduled to be held on March 21, students are advised to follow the ongoing rules and regulations.
The Class 12 exams started on February 12 with the last exam planned to be conducted on April 2. The results of ICSE (Class 10), and ISC (Class 12) exams will be declared in May 2024.
