UK-based Hinduja brothers have taken their dispute over family assets to the High Court in England, a ruling showed.
The brothers are locked over disputed "validity and effect" of a letter dated July 2, 2014. The case was brought to the court by eldest and 'patriach' Srichand Parmanand Hinduja, 84, against brothers GP Hinduja, 80, PP Hinduja, 75, and AP Hinduja, 69.
The letter in question declares that the brothers appoint each other as executors and that assets in any ones' names belongs to all four. Another letter dated July 1, 2014 is also under petition.
Justice Sarah Falk in her judgement on June 23 stated: "In summary, SP seeks a declaration that neither document has legal effect, whether as a will, power of attorney, declaration of trust or other binding document, or alternatively that the documents are revocable and have been revoked."
