Awfis Space Solutions (Awfis) on November 12 signed a service agreement for two floors in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), spanning approximately 1.65 lakh sq ft, with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Awfis will design, build and manage the space in the Adani Inspire commercial building in BKC for NSE to provide enhanced customer experience, the company said on November 12.
“A few months ago, Awfis became the first flex space provider to get listed on the NSE and today we are proud to welcome NSE as our client. We are thrilled to announce this collaboration which reaffirms our leadership in the flex space sector and strengthens our commitment to meeting the unique needs of clients from diverse industries," Awfis Space Solutions chairman and managing director Amit Ramani said.
Located in Mumbai’s business district, Adani Inspire is a 10-storey commercial building, which is connected to the Aqua Line of the Underground Metro and the Bandra suburban station.
Awfis already operates a coworking centre in the building. With the new agreement, it will expand its footprint with additional two centres.
The deal was facilitated by Rounak Real Estate Consultants, an advisory firm with integrated prime residential, commercial and industrial offering, the company said in a release.
Awfis is well-prepared to meet the rising need of flex spaces in India, Ramani further said.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 38.6 crore in the September quarter after a loss of Rs 4.3 crore in the year- ago period. Its revenue was up 40.5 percent at Rs 292.3 crore.
