After NHAI win, Magellanic Cloud subsidiary secures surveillance project from Rail Vikas Nigam

The company noted that the project will be executed in line with RDSO specifications and cybersecurity compliance requirements.

Provigil Surveillance Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Magellanic Cloud Limited, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for the provision of Video Surveillance Systems (VSS) across 441 D & E category stations, along with augmentation at 43 major stations of Southern Railway.

The project is valued at approximately Rs 85 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing.

According to the filing, the project scope includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of IP-based CCTV cameras at stations and RPF/GRP posts; deployment of networking infrastructure; and integration of AI-based video analytics, video management servers, and face recognition software with scalable storage.

The company noted that the project will be executed in line with RDSO specifications and cybersecurity compliance requirements.

This contract follows earlier orders received by Provigil, including an LoA from NHAI worth Rs 32 crore and one from South Central Railway worth Rs 2.25 crore for the deployment of AI-based video surveillance systems.
