Timeless neutrals like beige, white, and light grey are in demand for their versatility and elegance.”

Asymmetrical hemlines add a playful twist, while flowing, bohemian maxi skirts are perfect for a relaxed summer vibe. Ruffled skirts bring a flirty touch to both mini and midi lengths, providing texture and movement and high-waist skirts pair well with crop tops for a flattering silhouette. Gupta recommends, “Mix patterns to combine prints like a floral skirt with a striped or polka dot top and balance the look with neutral accessories. For a casual yet chic vibe, pair a midi skirt with a tied-up graphic tee, perfect for a sunny day out. Layer a lightweight denim or linen jacket over a high-waisted skirt and crop top combo to add dimension and stay prepared for cooler evenings. Accentuate your waist with a statement belt over a loose skirt, creating a flattering silhouette.”

Adding more options to the list, Gupta shares, “Chiffon is ideal for creating flowy, feminine skirts, whereas, rayon is a breathable alternative to silk and works well for both casual and formal skirts. Viscose, similar to rayon, offers a silky feel and smooth drape, perfect for summer. Jersey knit, being stretchable and breathable, is great for casual, everyday skirts that require flexibility. Lastly, chambray, often mistaken for denim, is lighter and breathable, making it an excellent fabric for summer skirts with a denim look.”
