Vastu is a traditional science that brings joy, luck, and prosperity to any house that follows its practical and logical guidance. With the new year, many people want to start afresh with positive energy in their lives. For this, experts suggest keeping the following things at your main door…

Vastu Shastra tips for good luck and prosperity

Tulsi root

Tulsi plant is worshipped in India for a reason. It is believed to attract Goddess Lakshmi, who is believed to bring wealth and prosperity. This plant is often used in rituals and is respected for its medicinal properties.

Placing a Tulsi root at your main entrance ensures a continuous flow of positive energy, abundance in terms of wealth, and protection from negative people. All you have to do is wrap a dry Tulsi root in red cloth along with rice and coins, then place it in front of Goddess Lakshmi and pray. Finally, tie the cloth with a red sacred thread to the upper right side of your main door.

Decorative pots with water and flowers

Take a decorative glass pot and fill it with water and flower petals. Place it at your entrance to block negativity and attract wealth and prosperity. Water is a poor conductor of negative energy, which protects you from the evil eye and keeps your family in good health. What’s more? It looks beautiful at the entrance too.

Swastik symbol

According to Vastu, the Swastik symbol at the main door is excellent for happiness, protection, and prosperity. Additionally, it promotes harmony and cordial relationships, and also reduces disease and mourning. Placing it on the main door acts as a protective shield.

Toran

Toran makes the entrance look not just lovely during weddings or festivals, but even otherwise. Hanging a toran made of mango, peepal, or Ashok tree leaves keeps negative energies out of your way. The leaves should be replaced before they dry out. When placed at the entrance, they welcome positive energy and the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi into your home.

Wind chimes

Place wind chimes on the sides of the door to bring positive energy, good luck, and great vibrations into your home. Their soothing sound keeps negative energy at bay. They should be chosen carefully according to the direction of your door, and the sound they make should be pleasant and not disturbing.
