Sara Ali Khan, who made quite the impression as Chumki Ghosh in Metro…In Dino, loves ethnic ensembles as much as her western outfits. Her latest pictures, posted by Manish Malhotra, see her wearing a beautiful blend of the two styles and looking her glamorous self.
For a recent outing, Sara stunned in a signature Manish Malhotraensemble in airy, off-white tones, in tune with the Pantone colour of the year — Cloud Dancer. It featured an encrusted pearl blouse in halter-neck style that showed off her well-toned shoulders and back.

To add more glamour, the blouse was paired with a godet skirt, giving a mermaid, princess-y vibe, and a modern, matching drape completed the ensemble. While the design looked exceptionally beautiful, what made it stand out was the silhouette hand-sewn with pearls and Swarovski crystals.

Manish Malhotra’s love for pearlsis well-known, and this outfit brings it out flawlessly with contemporary details. Sharing the pictures, Manish wrote, “Sara Ali Khan in our signature pearl story, the way I love them—refined, chic, and full of emotion. A modern heirloom, where timeless craft moves forward and emotion becomes couture.”
For the jewellery, Sara was styled regally in solitaire earrings and rings. Her minimal accessories did justice to the pearls, sequins, and crystals that adorned her fit and gave her a royal glow.
Her beauty game was equally brilliant and luminous. Her skin looked dewy fresh, with makeup that featured well-brushed brows, eyeliner, kajal, mascara, and eye glitter. The cheeks were beautifully blushed, and a nude warm brown lipstick rounded off the look.
Talking about pearls, it seems Bollywood designers just can’t have enough. Recently, Tara Sutaria wore a Tarun Tahiliani classic pearl saree. The designer shared her pictures and wrote, “This TT saree is elevated with a delicately embroidered border and shimmering crystal tassels, paired with a pearl and sequin embroidered blouse.”

It remains to be seen whether pearls will take over the year, with other celebrity actresses joining the trend. For now, we’re not complaining!
