Natasha Poonawalla, the wife of billionaire Adar Poonawalla, is known for her stylish sartorial choices and fashionable looks. Well, the diva also has a gorgeous jewellery collection to boast about. Recently, jewellery expert and fashion content creator Dhrumit Merulia put a spotlight on Natasha's fancy and rare pink diamond ring.
Fun fact: The ring once belonged to the last Queen of France Marie Antoinette. The influencer shared that the ring is known as the Marie-Thérèse Pink diamond ring. It features a huge 10.38-carat purple and pink modified kite brilliant-cut diamond centre stone. One can also see round diamonds above the pink stone. Also, the band has a blackened platinum finish and it features 17 diamonds.
The centre stone of the ring was part of the royal family's jewel collection before it came under the hammer in 1996.
After this, Joel Arthur Rosenthal, a legendary jewellery designer, was commissioned to design a new ring for the rare diamond.
The fashion influencer mentioned that after the ring was ready, it was expected to fetch around $3 to $5 million. However, eventually, it got sold at a price double of what it was expected to fetch.
On June 17, 2025, the ring was sold for $13,980,000 (around Rs 1,25,10,83,959) at Magnificent Jewels sale at Christie in New York.
