Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar showed her morning routine, revealing the small but steady habits that help her keep healthy, glowing. In a December 15 video on her YouTube channel, the 28-year-old actor guided viewers through her skincare and wellness practices, stressing balance, hydration, and thoughtful self-care over complex routines.

A gentle start to the day

Chhillar begins her morning by simply rinsing her face with water, avoiding cleansers altogether. She explained that because her skin tends to be dry, using a cleanser in the morning can feel too harsh. Allowing the natural oils produced overnight to remain helps her skin retain moisture and appear naturally radiant. She also stressed the importance of patting the skin dry rather than rubbing it, a habit she credits to advice from her mother.

Honey for hydration and glow

One of her favourite morning steps is a honey mask. Depending on time, she either massages honey onto her skin briefly and rinses it off or leaves it on longer as a mask. Honey has an effect on boosting glow and softness, so it plays a regular part in her routine.

Hydration from within

While the mask sits, Chhillar prepares what she describes as her first drink of the day—hydrogenated water. Introduced to her by her father, she says it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and has helped improve her energy levels since she incorporated it into her routine.

Light skincare before working out

Before she goes to the gym, she chooses simple skincare putting on ozonated glycerin to hydrate. According to Chhillar, it is non-comedogenic, works across skin types, and provides enough moisture without feeling heavy during a workout.

A customised morning drink

Chhillar also shared details of a doctor-prescribed drink she consumes in the morning, which includes malic acid, ascorbic acid, potassium chloride, iodine, and methylene blue. She noted that over time, she has observed subtle improvements in her energy levels, skin, and inflammation, reinforcing her belief that small, consistent habits can make a difference.

Simple pre-workout nutrition

Her pre-workout meal is deliberately uncomplicated. She eats a small amount of dal, rice, and ghee, which she claims gives lasting energy through complex carbs and good fats without feeling stuffed.

Key skincare after working out

After she exercises and has breakfast, Chhillar goes back to her skincare routine with moisturizer then eye cream and sunscreen.

She described moisturising as a calming, almost meditative process. Sunscreen, she added, is a non-negotiable step—one she became diligent about during her college years, after paying little attention to skincare in school.
