The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the Hall Tickets for the upcoming Combined Civil Services Examination (Group VA Services), Descriptive Type Examination. Candidates who have applied under Notification No. 16/2025 can now download their Memorandum of Admission from the Commission’s website.

The examination, which follows a recruitment-by-transfer process for eligible Junior Assistant or Assistant personnel from the Tamil Nadu Ministerial and Judicial Ministerial Services, is scheduled to be conducted on December 21, 2025. The Forenoon (FN) and Afternoon (AN) sessions will host the descriptive-type papers as per the official timetable.

Prospective candidates are advised to follow these steps to secure their admission memo:

Step 1. Visit the official TNPSC portals: www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.in.

Step 2. Go to the ‘Hall Ticket’ section or access the One-Time Registration (OTR) Dashboard.

Step 3. Log in using the required credentials, typically the candidate’s Application Number and Date of Birth.

Step 4. Locate and download the Hall Ticket for the Group VA (Descriptive) Examination.

Step 5. Print a clear copy for examination day requirements.

Candidates must carry a printed hard copy of their TNPSC Hall Ticket to the allotted examination centre. Along with the admission memo, a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhar Card, Driver’s License, or Passport) is mandatory for verification. It is recommended that aspirants review all details on the hall ticket, including personal information, exam time, and venue address, for any discrepancies.

The descriptive-type examination will form a part of the selection process for promotion to Group VA services. Candidates should prepare accordingly, focusing on comprehensive answer-writing skills.
