The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised final result for the CPO Sub-Inspector recruitment 2024-25. This recruitment covers Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Candidates who took part in the selection process can now check the updated merit list on the SSC’s official website, ssc.gov.in.
Why the SSC issued a revised resultThe SSC had first published the final result on 20 October 2025, recommending 5,296 candidates for appointment. This included 455 female candidates and 4,841 male candidates.
Soon after releasing the result, the Commission found issues in the data received from the Border Security Force (BSF), which was the nodal force for the Document Verification (DV), Detailed Medical Examination (DME), and Review Medical Examination (RME).
The SSC carried out a detailed review and confirmed inconsistencies in the data used to prepare the earlier merit list. To make sure that all eligible candidates are treated fairly and that no one is disadvantaged due to errors, the Commission has now issued a revised final result.
Changes made in the revised final resultAfter checking the records again, the SSC has updated the merit list with the following changes:
The Commission has also clarified that the revised recommendations include candidates over and above the declared vacancies. This has been done to ensure that no eligible candidate from the earlier list is removed because of the corrections.
