Bigg Boss Marathi 6 has already begun throwing up tense moments, and one such conversation involving Vishal Kotian has caught viewers’ attention. During a discussion inside the house, Vishal questioned fellow contestant Omkar Raut for making remarks about his Marathi fluency, saying he was taken aback by the assumption.

While speaking to Sonali Raut, Vishal opened up about the exchange and did not hold back his feelings. He revealed that Omkar had asked him to speak more in Marathi, a comment that Vishal felt was both unnecessary and uninformed.

“Omkar Raut asked me to speak more in Marathi. He does not know that I have been doing Marathi theater and naatak since my childhood. Ye jab paida bhi nahi hua tha tabse main karr rha hu,” Vishal said during the conversation.

He went on to explain that Marathi has been an integral part of his life, not just professionally but personally as well. Vishal spoke about growing up in areas deeply rooted in Marathi culture, stressing that his language command comes from lived experience, not performance.

“I have spent my childhood in South Bombay’s Dadar, Lalbaug Parel which is core Marathi area. I have spent days of my life in Dagdi Chawl,” he added, highlighting the cultural environment that shaped him.

Vishal also reflected on how people outside often underestimate him because of his mixed background and career in Hindi television. According to him, this perception has followed him for years, even though Marathi theatre was where his journey began.

“People are shocked seeing my Marathi command,” Vishal remarked, pointing out that assumptions about language often come from surface-level judgments rather than facts.

The actor then addressed Omkar directly in a sharper tone, making it clear that while he considers Omkar younger and inexperienced, he would not tolerate disrespect. “Baccha hai wo but bacha samazke agar kaan mein susu karega toh tough hai beta iska,” Vishal said, drawing laughter and surprise from those listening.

This exchange has sparked discussion among viewers, many of whom feel the issue goes beyond language and touches on identity, respect, and lived history. As Bigg Boss Marathi 6 progresses, moments like these are setting the tone for a season filled with strong personalities, cultural pride, and unfiltered emotions.
