Hyderabad turned into a celebration zone on Friday evening as Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna returned home as husband and wife.
Just a day after their dreamy wedding in Udaipur, the newlyweds were welcomed by an ocean of cheering fans at the Hyderabad airport.
Despite tight security arrangements, the excitement was impossible to contain. Fans waved, shouted their names and tried to catch even a fleeting glimpse of the couple.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna acknowledged the love with warm smiles and gentle waves, clearly touched by the overwhelming response. Their family members, who had travelled back with them after the wedding festivities, were also seen walking alongside them.
Earlier, the couple had been spotted at the Udaipur airport before flying out. Even amid the travel rush, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna paused for a brief greet-and-meet with fans and photographers.
Rashmika Mandanna looked radiant in a red outfit, her mehendi-adorned hands, sindoor and traditional jewellery reflecting the glow of a new bride. Vijay Deverakonda kept it classic in a kurta pyjama, pairing it with sunglasses for a relaxed, understated look.
The two even sent flying kisses to fans before heading inside — a small gesture that sent social media into a frenzy.
The wedding, held in Udaipur in the presence of close friends and family, has already become one of the most talked-about events of the year.
Shortly after the ceremony, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna shared intimate pictures from their special day, along with heartfelt notes that left fans emotional.
Rashmika Mandanna wrote, "Hi my loves, Introducing to you now "My Husband"! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The man who taught me what true love feels like, the man who showed me what being in peace feels like!"
Vijay Deverakonda’s message was equally tender: "Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would've been better if she were around. Like my meals would've felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me.Like my workouts would've been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Like I needed her - just to feel that sense of home and calm, no matter where I was."
Since then, congratulatory messages have continued to pour in, as fans celebrate not just a wedding, but a love story they have followed for years.
