Taarak Mehta actor Gurucharan Singh returns home, says he was on a 'religious journey'

'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' actor Gurucharan Singh, who had been missing since April 22, has returned home after a religious journey, according to the police.

Gurucharan Singh became famous for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the hit television show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.'

'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' actor Gurucharan Singh, who had been missing since April 22, has returned home, said the police.

The actor upon his return said he was on a religious journey, police said.

A case of kidnapping was filed by the Delhi Police after his aged father filed a missing complaint on April 22.

According to police, Gurucharan Singh told the officials that he had left his worldly life and was on a religious journey.

Gurucharan Singh became famous for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the hit television show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.'

He had been missing since April 22, causing great concern among his family and fans.

In his complaint his father Hargit Singh had said that his son had left for the airport but never reached his destination.

His friends and colleagues from the show were also worried. Palak Sindhwani, who plays Sonu in the show, told Moneycontrol she hoped he was fine.

The Delhi Police was actively looking for for Gurucharan.

Gurucharan had been living in Mumbai due to his work commitments but frequently visited his family in Delhi. There were reports that he was going to get married and was also facing financial issues.
