
The official Indian version of the internationally acclaimed Italian medical drama DOC – Nelle Tue Mani, Hui Gumm Yaadein – Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan, is all set to debut on Sony SAB.
DOC is well-known for its compelling narrative that is based on empathy, resiliency, and the triumph of the human spirit. It has been adapted in over five nations and received praise from all around the world. The channel is set to introduce this powerful story to Indian viewers with Hui Gumm Yaadein: Ek Doctor, Do Zindagiyaan.
The Indian adaptation will continue the compelling journey of a brilliant doctor whose world is upended after a horrific occurrence erases years of his memory, all while adhering to the emotional core of the original series.
The show examines his revitalised approach to medicine, which is characterised by empathy, vulnerability, and human connection, as he works to reconstruct his identity, relationships, and career. This adaptation offers Indian television a rejuvenating and unique perspective by shifting away from conventional female-led storytelling and putting a strong male protagonist at its centre.
