Singer-songwriter Amaal Mallik, who recently garnered attention for his significant journey on Bigg Boss 19, has become the focus of a new social media controversy after the show's end.
The drama following the show has re-emerged on the internet as fans of another contestant, Tanya Mittal, called for an apology from Amaal regarding a comment made during the episode.
The situation intensified when Amaal’s manager posted a message asking internet users not to target the singer’s family in online harassment, which heightened criticism and demands for a public apology.
Breaking his silence, Amaal turned to social media to decisively tackle the matter, explaining that he had already issued an apology and found no reason to extend the dispute. He expressed himself emphatically in a written statement:
"I have already apologized personally & on social media for all of it, not just to her but to every other contestant for whatever transpired on the show… The first tweet by me after getting out of the house was for Tanya, so stop running your mouth and messing with my manager, team, family members & friends who weren’t even in the game.

All you are showing is ke tumhaara fandom vela tha, hai, aur vela hi rahega….
Doing paid PR and making articles about her being Tanya Malik lolololol. Get a life, my behna. The comment should’ve shut you idiots up, but jaahil gawaar fandom ko koi kya hi bole.
FYI—Neither she nor I have had any feelings except friendship, & just because I’m stopping my fans from getting aggressive doesn’t mean I will take shit from you or anyone else. Stop acting like sore losers, just like your idol, who could not deal with Gaurav Khanna winning the show & acted like she wasn’t aware when he won.
Bhaiyo aur Behno, Aankri baar!
Drama bandh karo, apne idols ko bhi bol dijiye bandh kare. All fandoms should rejoice in the season and not crib if their choice of artist didn’t win, or he/she didn’t make a relationship in the real world for y’all to ship.
You are indirectly begging for the approval of others and are putting your own favourite contestant’s image down!
What my equation is with whoever, whether it’s Farrhana, Baseer, Shehbaaz, or anyone for that matter, is none of your business; it’s something even my fans can’t decide for me. Mujhe jaisa rehna hai, kiske saath dosti rakhni hai, kaam karna hai ya nahi karna hai, is my wish…
Just because hum sab izzat mein hai doesn’t mean you or anyone from any other fandom can climb on top of my people and mess with us…. Losers ho tum log aur acting karte ho ke bade achhe aur sabhya ho, lol. Y’all are a set of fake spiritual people. If I am forced to take things into my own hands, I sure will & you will not like it or be able to deal with it… So back the hell off, you immature as**s."

Even though the reality show concluded weeks back, the animosities among fandoms seem to persist.
Coming from a renowned musical background and recognised for producing numerous chart-topping songs in Hindi films, Amaal entered the Bigg Boss house to reveal a more personal aspect beyond his accomplished music career. His performance was deeply connected with audiences, securing him a Top 5 spot and solidifying his reputation as a familiar figure.
