Joining thousands of spectators at the stadium were several well-known personalities from the entertainment industry, all cheering enthusiastically for Team India.

Among the celebrities spotted at the venue were actors Preity Zinta and Aparshakti Khurrana, who were seen soaking in the electric atmosphere during the match.

Also present at the stadium were television stars Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, along with actor-filmmaker Basil Joseph. Their presence added an extra dash of glamour to the sporting spectacle, with fans and cameras turning toward the stands as much as the field.

Preity Zinta was spotted arriving in Ahmedabad hours before the match began. Several paparazzi videos circulating online showed the actor making her way to the stadium ahead of the much-awaited clash. Later during the match, clips also show her interacting with a friend seated beside her.

Meanwhile, Aparshakti Khurrana shared a glimpse of his journey to the stadium on Instagram. The actor posted a cheerful selfie with singer Manmeet Singh of Meet Bros as the duo travelled to the venue in an auto-rickshaw, adding a fun and relatable moment for fans following the match online.

Malayalam actor-director Basil Joseph also travelled to Ahmedabad to cheer for the Indian side and especially for his close friend, cricketer Sanju Samson. Basil’s presence highlighted the strong camaraderie that often exists between the worlds of Indian cinema and cricket.

Spectators at the stadium were also treated to an energetic closing ceremony that featured live performances by celebrated artists Sukhbir Singh and Falguni Pathak, further elevating the celebratory mood of the evening.

Interestingly, the semi-final match between India and England held earlier at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on March 5 had also witnessed a strong celebrity turnout. Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt attended the match with their daughter Raha Kapoor, while Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan were also spotted among the enthusiastic supporters in the stands.

It will be exciting to see if India wins the T20 World Cup title this year. With fans across the country glued to their screens and cheering from stadiums and homes alike, the match has truly turned into a nationwide celebration of cricket.
