Sunny Deol to team up with Telugu director Gopichand Malineni

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, who has had a powerful comeback with Gadar 2, is on a movie signing spree. The 'Betaab' actor will now be seen in a movie tentatively titled 'SGDM' to be directed by Telugu director Gopichand Malineni.

Sunny Deol himself made the announcement about the big-budget entertainer, that is going to go on floors from June 22.

While making the announcement, Sunny Deol wrote: "Make way for the biggest action film of the country - #SDGM "

According to reports, Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra will be joining Sunny Deol in the movie.

The film is being jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. It will have music by S Thaman.

Fans got really excited with the announcement and wrote:

In 2023, Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' became one of the highest-grossing films in India and collected over Rs 690 crore worldwide.

Sunny Deol is also shooting for Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Lahore 1947' with Preity Zinta. This marks the return of Preity Zinta to the screens.

Recently 'Border 2' was also announced and it is likely to release in 2026.

Talking about Telugu director Gopichand Malineni, he has directed movies like 'Bodyguard', 'Krack' and 'Veera Simha Reddy'.
