Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is celebrating his 59th birthday today (November 2), thanked his fans who came all the way to wish their favorite actor.
Every year thousands of fans of the actor make it a point to reach Mannat, SRK's residence in Bandra, Mumbai, to wish him and catch a glimpse of the superstar.
Shah Rukh Khan, like each year, made it a point to come out and greet his fans. He shared a picture of him striking his signature arms-spread pose for the fans.
SRK is seen sporting a full-sleeve T shirt with a cap and dark glasses as he strikes the pose. Also seen in the background are jubilant fans who got a glimpse of their favorite actor.
While sharing the picture, SRK thanked all those who were stationed outside his home and also for those who wished him otherwise.
He wrote, "Thank you for coming over and making my evening special... My love to everyone who made it for my birthday. And for those who couldn’t, sending you all my love."
Many actors like Mona Singh, Sharad Kelkar, Mouni Roy, and others wished SRK on his birthday.
A few hours ago, his wife Gauri Khan shared a picture of her husband Shah Rukh Khan cutting his birthday cake. He was seen with Gauri and daughter Suhana Khan.
Gauri, who is dressed in white ethnic wear, is seen holding SRK's hand as he cuts his birthday cake. Suhana was dressed in golden attire for her dad's birthday. Sharing the picture, Gauri wrote: "A memorable evening last night with friends and family... Happy birthday ️️ @iamsrk."
Gauri shared another throwback picture of the two, which is from their younger days.
Besides the private birthday celebration, Shah Rukh Khan also offered prayers at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, where his fans had gathered to mark his birthday.
Talking about Shah Rukh Khan's movies, King Khan is going to be seen with his daughter Suhana Khan in the action thriller King. The film also stars Abhay Verma of Munjya fame, and Abhishek Bachchan is going to play a negative role.
The movie is likely to be announced soon, and the father-daughter duo will shoot for the movie in London.
