Shah Rukh Khan and Aryan Khan's luxury brand, D'YAVOL, has achieved a remarkable milestone with its flagship product, D'YAVOL INCEPTION, being awarded the title of "Best Overall Scotch" and "Best Of Class" Blended Malt Scotch Whisky at the prestigious New York World Spirits Competition (NYWSC) in 2024. This recognition not only highlights the exceptional quality of their whisky but also showcases the dedication and passion behind D'YAVOL’s creation.

The New York World Spirits Competition is a renowned event in the spirits industry, known for its thorough and rigorous judging process. Experts from various fields in the alcohol industry participate in blind tastings, where they evaluate spirits for their quality, craftsmanship, and overall excellence. Winning an award at this competition is considered a high honor, as it signifies that the product stands out among the best in the world.

D'YAVOL INCEPTION is a special whisky blend made from eight rare single malts sourced from various regions in Scotland, including Speyside, Highland, Lowland, and the Islands. These malts are aged up to 12 years, with some being matured in Tawny Port and rare Madeira casks, giving the whisky its unique flavors. The whisky is non-chill filtered, meaning it retains its natural flavors and character without any artificial alterations. The result is a whisky that has deep flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and oak spices, with hints of smoked wood, ripe plums, vanilla, and a gentle smokiness.

Since its launch in 2023, D'YAVOL INCEPTION has received multiple prestigious awards. It earned a Gold medal at the International Wine and Spirits Awards (IWSA), a Double Gold at the New York World Spirits Competition, and was named ‘Blended Scotch of the Year’ at the Asia International Spirits Competition (AISC) in 2024.

Aryan Khan, the other co-founder of D'YAVOL, shared his excitement about the win, calling it both a validation and an inspiration. He emphasized that the award is a testament to D'YAVOL’s commitment to authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship.
