The excitement surrounding Spirit is only growing stronger. Headlined by Prabhas and Triptii Dimri, the film is already one of the most talked-about projects in the pipeline — and the recent unveiling of Vivek Oberoi’s first-look poster has added fresh momentum.
Scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 5 March 2027, Spirit promises scale, intensity and high drama.
In the newly released poster, Vivek Oberoi appears intense and self-assured, hinting at a character with layers and moral complexity.
His presence suggests that Spirit will not merely rely on spectacle but will also thrive on powerful character dynamics. The film also introduces Aishwarya Desai in a pivotal role, bringing a new energy to this ambitious venture.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit is mounted as a large-scale entertainer designed for a global audience. The film is set to release in eight languages, reflecting its expansive vision and the makers’ confidence in its universal appeal.
At the heart of the story is Prabhas, who will reportedly play an IPS officer — a role that marks a striking shift in tone. According to a source cited by Filmfare, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is carefully working on defining Prabhas’ on-screen look.
“A photoshoot will be organised on Prabhas to lock his look and hairstyle for the cop role. The superstar had even shed the kilos for the part and looks fit. His lean and mean look will enthral fans," the source revealed.
The insider also added, “Prabhas wanted to allot bulk dates to the film so that he can wrap up in one go," suggesting the actor is fully committed to the demanding schedule, with principal photography expected to begin in February 2026.

The makers previously released a one-minute audio teaser in five Indian languages, offering a glimpse into the film’s brooding atmosphere. The teaser featured a tense exchange involving a jailed ex-cop, before ending with Prabhas’ chilling line: “Sir, since childhood, I have one bad habit." He then repeated, “Right from childhood, I have one bad habit."
Initially, Deepika Padukone was attached to the project, but she exited following unsuccessful negotiations.
Triptii Dimri subsequently came on board, marking her Telugu cinema debut. With much still under wraps, Spirit remains one of the most eagerly awaited releases on the horizon.
