Shambhala: A Mystical World, a mystical thriller directed by Ugandhar Muni and starring Aadi Saikumar, has become a Telugu hit.
The movie, which debuted on Christmas Day, December 25th, received overwhelmingly excellent reviews and has been doing remarkably well at the box office ever since. Shambhala is keeping up a great pace after a fantastic start, posting impressive numbers even into its second week.
Shambhala is currently preparing for its Hindi theatrical release on January 9th, following its successful Telugu premiere. The movie is being released in Hindi by Avanika Films.
The Hindi trailer for the movie was released by lead hero Rishab Shetty, who also wished the team well.
Rishab Shetty took to his X (formerly Twitter) and shared a poster with the text, ‘Trailer out now.’ Alongside the poster, he penned in the caption, “After a grand successful Telugu release. #Shambala releasing in Hindi on 9th Jan’26.”

The actor also added the link for the trailer and added, “All the best to @iamaadisaikumar and the entire team.”
The trailer begins with a spectacular cosmic event—an intense comet impact close to a village with deep spiritual roots. An unusual stone that is thought to command the five elements of nature emerges from the rubble. A geo-scientist, a devout rationalist determined to unravel the strange phenomena engulfing the area, enters this legendary environment. The central conflict that propels Shambhala is the result of an intense standoff between scientific logic and traditional knowledge.
With a strong narration, the trailer delves more into the mystery of the movie, combining mood, tension, and devotion in equal measure. Every frame promises a world that is both visually striking and thematically complex, demonstrating director Ugandhar Muni's mastery of mood and story.
In what appears to be one of his most captivating performances to date, Aadi Saikumar makes an appearance in a new persona. Swasika, Ravi Varma, Madhunandan, and Siva Karthik bolster the ensemble, while Archana Iyer plays opposite him.
The technical team is excellent; the intricate world-building by art director JK Murthy, the lush cinematography by Praveen K. Bangari, and the captivating background score by Sricharan Pakala all work together to create a mystical atmosphere that lasts long after the trailer concludes. One of the film's greatest assets is the production values, which are evident in everything from design to soundtrack.
Supported by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under the Shining Pictures label, the movie has already made significant profits for distributors and producers, with both theatrical and non-theatrical rights selling for high prices.
