Fans of Prabhas have plenty to be excited about as his upcoming action drama Spirit continues to make headlines.
This time, it’s the film’s ambitious shooting schedule that’s grabbing attention. Reports suggest that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga plans to wrap the entire shoot in just 95 days.
Sources say the director has meticulously charted every step of the schedule, ensuring that nothing is left to chance.
While the filming timeline is impressive, the buzz around the film’s antagonist is generating equal excitement. Rumours have been swirling that senior Telugu actor Gopichand might play the villain in Spirit.
According to Great Andhra, his casting is already confirmed, though neither he nor the makers have officially spoken about it. Fans are thrilled at the possibility, particularly because Gopichand has expressed interest in layered, complex negative roles in the past.
If these reports are true, it would mark his first collaboration with Prabhas and his first project under Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s direction—a combination that promises an intriguing on-screen dynamic.
Adding to the excitement, the film’s release date has now been officially announced: 5 March 2027. Originally expected in 2026, the film’s release was postponed to accommodate its demanding shooting schedule and extensive post-production work.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared the news on Instagram, posting a promotional visual revealing the theatrical date and further fuelling anticipation.
Spirit also boasts a strong ensemble cast, including Triptii Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, and Prakash Raj, though plot details remain tightly under wraps. Early indications suggest the film will offer a mix of high-octane action and emotionally driven storytelling.
The music is being composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and production is a joint effort between T-Series Films and Bhadrakali Pictures.
