Sai Pallavi thanked the Government of Tamil Nadu after winning the Best Actress award for her performance in Gargi (2022) at the recently announced Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. The film also won Best Film and Best Director, making it one of the biggest winners at the ceremony.
She took to her Instagram and wrote: “My heartfelt thanks to The Government of Tamil Nadu for this honor. Gargi, was made just to be the start of an important Conversation and after its release it did exactly what it set out to do.”

She will soon make her Hindi film debut with Ek Din, a romantic drama produced by Aamir Khan productions.
Sai will be seen romancing Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan in Ek Din. The film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026.She will then be seen as Maa Sita in the grand epic Ramayana alongside Ranbir Kapoor. The movie is going to release on Diwali this year.
In addition, Sai Pallavi has reportedly joined a new Tamil film with Dhanush, tentatively titled D55, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, which recently began production.
