Superstar Rajinikanth recently visited the Tirumala Tirupati temple with his family, a day after celebrating his 75th birthday. The actor seeks Lord Venkateshwara's blessings on Saturday morning, December 13.

Several pictures and videos from the temple visit are going viral on social media. In the video, the actor, his wife Latha, and their daughters Soundarya and Aishwarya were seen entering the shrine.

Yatra Raja, his grandson, was also spotted by his side, helping and guiding the celebrity as the family left the temple grounds.

Later, Rajinikanth and his family posed for pictures, and the actor greeted and waved to admirers who had come to see Thalaiva with his characteristic elegance.

The temple visit came after a newly restored 4K version of Rajinikanth's 1999 hit film Padayappa returned to theatres on his 75th birthday, marking his 50 years in the film industry. Reliving the film's famous moments, memorable dialogue, and characters that still have a special place in Tamil cinema, fans welcomed the re-release like a festival.

Rajinikanth celebrated his 75th birthday on the set of his upcoming film, Jailer 2. The actor was seen cutting a cake with director Nelson Dilipkumar, cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan, and other crew members of the film.

The superstar is slated to wrap up the shooting of Jailer 2 sometime in December. Rajinikanth will play the role of "Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian again. He was a brave family man who became a vigilante in the 2023 hit movie Jailer.

Ramya Krishnan, who plays his wife, will also return in the sequel. Jailer 2 is likely to hit theatres in the summer of 2026.
