Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan’s latest film, They Call Him OG, emerged as a massive box office success this year. The film not only struck a chord with audiences but also went on to become the highest-grossing movie of Pawan Kalyan’s career.
With They Call Him OG earning over Rs 300 crore worldwide, Pawan Kalyan expressed his gratitude to director Sujeeth with a special gesture. As a token of appreciation for the film’s success, the actor-politician gifted the filmmaker a luxury car.
On Tuesday, Sujeeth took to social media to share what he described as the “best gift ever” from Pawan Kalyan.
Posting pictures of a black Land Rover Defender gifted by the star, the director wrote, “Best gift ever Overwhelmed and grateful beyond words. The love and encouragement from my dearest OG, Kalyan garu, means everything to me. From being a childhood fan to this special moment. Forever indebted.”

The first picture shared by Sujeeth shows Pawan Kalyan opening the car door for the director. In the second image, Pawan is seen smiling broadly as Sujeeth sits behind the wheel of the new vehicle. The duo also posed together with the luxury SUV, shaking hands and celebrating the moment.
The Land Rover Defender’s price in Hyderabad reportedly ranges between Rs 1.29 crore and Rs 3.18 crore, depending on the variant. Fans were quick to react to the post, with many praising Pawan Kalyan for his generous gesture towards Sujeeth following the film’s success.
Earlier this year, Pawan Kalyan’s first release was Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna. Mounted on a massive budget, the period drama crossed ₹116 crore worldwide after its July release but received a lukewarm response from audiences and critics alike. In contrast, Sujeeth’s OG performed strongly at the box office despite receiving mixed reviews from critics.
Pawan Kalyan will next be seen in Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which is slated for release in 2026.
