  • Film to stream on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium from February 11, 2026
  • Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and Venkatesh star in this hit family entertainer

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has clearly struck a chord with audiences, emerging as a full-blown box-office blockbuster and once again underlining why Chiranjeevi remains one of Indian cinema’s most bankable stars.

The film has stormed past the Rs 370 crore mark worldwide, as reported by trade tracker Sacnilk, and continues to draw crowds to theatres even weeks after its release.

While the film is still enjoying a healthy theatrical run, its digital release plans are now firmly in place. As per OTT Play, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will begin streaming on ZEE5 from February 11, 2026, and will also be available via OTTplay Premium.

There had been some buzz about a possible delay in the OTT release, given the film’s strong performance at the box office. However, the makers have decided to stick to the original plan. The move is tied to a special agreement with ZEE5, which guarantees the producers a solid payout if the film arrives on OTT within a month of its theatrical release, irrespective of its box-office collections. As a result, the team has chosen to honour the OTT timeline, even though the film is still seeing over 50 per cent occupancy in several theatres.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi of Sankranthiki Vastunnam fame, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is a large-scale family entertainer that blends action, humour, and emotion.

The film hit theatres on January 12, 2026, as a Sankranthi release and quickly turned into a festive favourite. Nayanthara stars as the female lead, while Venkatesh plays a key role that has been warmly received by audiences.

At the heart of the film is Shankara Vara Prasad, a national security officer tasked with protecting a VIP’s family from an unknown threat. The assignment becomes deeply personal when he discovers that the family includes his estranged wife, children, and father-in-law, forcing him to juggle professional responsibility with unresolved emotions.

The ensemble cast also features Catherine Tresa, Sachin Khedekar, Sharat Saxena, Harsh Vardhan, and Abhinav Gomatham. Bheems Ceciroleo’s music has added to the film’s mass appeal, with several songs becoming instant hits.

The chemistry between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara, along with Venkatesh’s strong screen presence, has played a big role in the film’s success.
