
Veteran actor Chiranjeevi’s latest release Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has witnessed a noticeable upswing in its box office performance following its theatrical debut on January 12, largely benefiting from the festive rush surrounding Makar Sankranthi.
According to a trade tracking website, the film performed strongly over its first three days and amassed an estimated Rs 79.85 Cr India net during this period.
On its fourth day, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu added approximately Rs 22.00 Cr India net to its tally. The film began its run with a Day 0 (Sunday) collection (Paid Previews) of Rs 9.35 Cr, followed by a sharp surge on Day 1, its first Monday, when it earned Rs 32.25 Cr.
However, collections saw a decline on Day 2, the first Tuesday, bringing in Rs 18.75 Cr and reflecting a drop of 41.86 percent. Day 3, which fell on the first Wednesday, showed a slight recovery with earnings of Rs 19.5 Cr, registering a marginal 4 percent increase.
With Day 4 (first Thursday) contributing Rs 22.00 Cr as per early estimates, the film’s total box office collection has reached Rs 101.85 Cr.
Occupancy figures on Day 4 further underlined the film’s strong theatrical pull across Telugu (2D) screens. Morning shows opened at a solid 52.46 percent occupancy, which rose sharply to 86.03 percent during the afternoon.

Evening shows performed even better, recording an impressive 86.81 per cent occupancy, while night shows maintained robust momentum at 78.57 per cent, indicating consistent audience interest throughout the day.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where several locations reported nearly full theatres, have played a major role in the movie's box office dominance. With an astounding 94 per cent overall occupancy, including almost full houses during afternoon and night shows, Kakinada emerged as the best-performing region.
Following closely behind, Mahbubnagar and Guntur both recorded 92.5 per cent occupancy, demonstrating high demand throughout all time slots. With occupancy rates ranging from 86 to 90 per cent, Vizag, Warangal, and Vijayawada also produced blockbuster-level results, with afternoon and evening performances all but sold out.
Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu looks well-positioned to have another successful weekend at the box office, with the festive momentum still strong, impressive occupancy in important Telugu markets, and word-of-mouth steadily stabilizing.
The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment. It features Chiranjeevi Konidala, Nayanthara, Catherine Tresa, Venkatesh, and Sachin Khedekar in prominent roles.
