The pre-release excitement for Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming political action drama Jana Nayagan has crossed borders, with fans and colleagues alike gearing up for its grand audio launch in Malaysia. Among those expressing her enthusiasm is actress Malavika Mohanan, who took to social media to share her admiration for the Tamil superstar ahead of the big event.

Scheduled for December 27, 2025, at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, the Jana Nayagan audio launch has been touted as a massive celebration ahead of the film’s Pongal 2026 release. The event — themed “Thalapathy Thiruvizha” — is expected to attract tens of thousands of fans and feature music, performances and special moments celebrating Vijay’s illustrious career.

Malavika, who previously starred opposite Vijay in the blockbuster Master (2021), posted on X (formerly Twitter) that she was thrilled to support the Jana Nayagan team. She wrote, “Before my day gets busy with my own movie’s pre-release event, I want to take a moment to express my excitement for the audio launch of #JanaNayagan. It’s been an absolute honour to have worked with Vijay sir & an even bigger honour to be able to call him a friend. He is a special person in every sense of the word.”

She called herself a Thalapathy fan girl and added, “I will be cheering for him & the entire team of the film like millions of fans from across the globe. Now and always. A Thalapathy fan girl.”

The Jana Nayagan audio launch holds extra significance as it comes at a pivotal moment in Vijay’s career. The film is reportedly one of his final projects before he focuses on his political journey, making this celebration even more poignant for fans and collaborators alike.
